They already gave VMware tools installed, but is not supported by the ESXi version

I'm having an issue changing certs in my view environment and i expire tomorrow. Is there any thing else i need to do besides rename teh friendly name of the cert and restart the services or reboot the server? I have the cert (from Network Solutions) installed on the connection server, i rename the original cert then rename the new cert to friendly name vdm then reboot the server. When i do that I am unable to connect to the admin console adn the only way to get back in is to put the old one back. Any thoughts as to what i'm missing? Any quick help is appreciated. Thanks

I just buy server and install free ESXi and after install i got Alert i try update to newlatest build and same effect all the time Alert and Warning.
Anyone can help me and tell me what is wrong? I buy this dedicated server in my provider.

Welcome at the VMware communities forum.
Unfortunately Apple does not allow you to run a virtual macOS or OS X on non-Apple branded hardware.
Since this violates Apple's EULA (and as such the VMware Community Terms of Use), any issues you have with trying to run macOS or OS X using VMware Workstation or VMware Workstation Player cannot be discussed at this forum.
You'll need to have apple hardware and use a product like VMware Fusion or VMware ESXi in order to legally run a virtual copy of macOS / OS X.

could you jump onto the Intel Remote Management to check Health Status there. normally Vmware blames only if getting Alerts from the IMM/IPMI etc,....
i just double check it to confirm if really an Issue or not. If no Issues there > then maybe Bug from Esxi

I successfully deployed my first windows server 2016 instance in vCloud Air. Please see below screenshots for the same.
Server 2016 has not been added as vApp template in Public Catalogs yet. You have to upload Server 2016 iso in your Catalog and build a new vApp with customer VM selecting Server 2016 as OS.

I got this to work doing the following - not sure if there is any downside to doing this:
I created a new VM.
And option - create custom VM
Placed it in a folder on my drive.
Opened the package once installed and grabbed the VMX file from there.
And put that file in place of the corrupted one on my usual VM
Now it seems to open fine.
Anything to worry about?

You won't be able to change the disk provisioning if your disk is pointing or using snapshot.
Try to delete snapshots or consolidate first.

Depends on your traffic, the Edge performing L2VPN would also quite cpu intensive and this would provide up to ~2Gbps througput.
If you need more throughput e.g. ~10Gbps you will need to do stretch VXLAN which requires change of MTU on the WAN

In terms of SRM, the new HOL has NSX-SRM integration but it leverages NSX with cross vCenter setup and not L2VPN.

Hi, has anyone successfully running the Cisco UCS plugin with vcenter server appliance 6?
I've used the Cisco plugin registration tool and tried plugin version 1.2.2 and 1.2.5. Still can't get it to show in web client. The tool says it was successful , the event logs show successful registration of the plugin, yet i don't see the plugin at all. I've restarted the server multiple times so that cant be it. I'm thinking it doesn't work with vcenter server appliance?
