Error: The specified virtual disks needs repair

Dear experts,

Please help, I have following issue only with my Win7 image, any other OSs are fine:
I copied my virtual image (all files) physically to another EXT disk.
The disk was mapped to the same letter like the old disk eg. V:\ and files was copied to the exact the same path location.
When I started my VMware Workstation 9.0.1 and ran this new image it did not even asked any question (I mean if image was copied or moved...).

Anyway, So I normally started image, and all is fine.

And now my issue:

When I created new snapshot, which was created just fine, I wanted then to delete previous snapshot, when I hit delete previous snapshot - Error message says ->
"The specified virtual disks needs repair"
the very same happened when I tried to defragment the disk via VMware settings/Tools.

"Defragmentation failed: The specified virtual disks needs repair"

The help was to run this utility:
vmware-vdiskmanager -R +path to the virtual_disk.vmdk

this fixed my issue successfully. Then I could delete old snapshot and defragment the disk.

However this was working fine just till next open of VMware Workstation.
Now again I have just above described issue error message:

"The specified virtual disks needs repair"

Any idea how to fix it permanently?
Very appreciate any help on this!

Thanks

Regards,
