Yes, i've removed all old/hidden devices from the device manager.
I started the device manager like this way:
To remove hidden and ghosted devices:
- Click Start> Run, type cmd.exe, and click OK. The Command Prompt window opens.
- Run this command:
set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1 - Run this command to start Device Manager from this Command Prompt:
devmgmt.msc - Click View> Show Hidden Devices.
- Expand the Network Adapters tree.
- Right-click the dimmed network adapter and click Uninstall.
- Close the Device Manager.
Note: In Windows 2008 and Windows 7, open the command prompt using the Run as Administrator option.
