I ran into a weird error today at work.
Immediately after installing vCenter 5.1.0b, I attempted to add an ESXi 5.0.0 host to a newly created datacenter.
I encountered an error that stated, vCenter does not support hosts of this type.
I thought, really? The compatibility matrix says that it does.
At that point I left for the day and will address this on Monday.
In the meanwhile, has anyone encountered such an error?
