It seems that I've answered my own question. I assumed that the installer was asking for the domain group that I created to be admins for Mirage, but instead it seems as if it were asking for the local group, in my case MACHINE\Administrators. When I input that group, the installer kicked right off... I guess that the domain group would work if the data were on a CIFS share.
