Yes, it fully supports vsphere from version 4.1. To install it you need to have the correct components:
1 - Windows server (physical or virtual) for the Deep Security Manager, plus a Database to link it to (SQL, Oracle, SQL express (do not use the included Derby databse for production)
2 - Vcenter server - Deep Secusity Manager links to this
3 - Vshield installed on each ESXi host you want to protect - Deep Secusity Manager links to this. (Vshield is included with ESXi 5.1)
4 - Vmware tools with the correct components installed (VMCI drivers)
5 - Deep Security Virtual Appliances to provide the agentless protection.
