Hi,
I tried installing Horizon Workspace evaluation version, in my lab, but as some of you, during Step2a: Database Connection Setup, I've got error: Error creating admin user". I found at community, that some of you faced this issue, but in my case, I didn't get any further info, like: "certificate error", or "routing error", ... Only this simple error from title.
I tried installing several times, and same error again. My environment does not lack any space/CPU/memory resources, so this might be no cause of the issue.
I saved following files from configuratior-va:
/opt/vmware/horizon/configuratorinstance/logs/configurator.log
/opt/vmware/var/log/configurator.log
and I'll put them in attach, in case that some of you can help me.
From my point, all DNS A/PTR records are correct, IP Pool was configured in correct manner, so installation failed due to some issues caused by VMware itself. All VMs from workspace are in same network subnet, and there should be no network issues.
After getting the error, I tried checking installation, like suggested in installation guide:
curl –kv https://<HorizonWorkspaceFQDN>/SAAS
curl –kv https://<HorizonWorkspaceFQDN>/web
both commands, returned successfully, from the configurator-va.
I tried restarting all VAs within workspace, but after that, when I try to open URL for initial configuration, I am asked to enter the password. I tried with password which was entered during first web gui setup, but it doesn't open any further web page, so possibly, I need to reinstall once again.
